Virtual conference, December 1-3, 2021

Invited speaker: Prof. Hacène Fouchal, Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France

Title: Analysis of Data of Intelligent Transport Systems

Nowadays, C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems )is one of the most challenging domains either in research or in industry. Their social and economic benefits are of importance for fuel consumption, traffic management, road security, etc., The main actors of C-ITS are vehicles which exchange huge amounts of data. In addition to that, privacy is required to protect users against trackers. Indeed, vehicles use a set of pseudonyms that they change during their journeys.
This talk gives some idea on algorithms and methods which analyze these data in order to:

Hacène Fouchal obtained habilitation degree in Computer Science from Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in 2001; a PhD from Université de Paris 7 in 1995 and M.S. in Computer Science, from Université de Paris Sud (Orsay) in 1989. Currently he is a full Professor at Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, head of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science Department. Professor's research interests are Sensor Networks, Networking, Testing, Security and Intelligent Transport Systems. He has more than 100 publications and conference papers in international sources. He has supervised more than fifteen PhD students. He has been guest editor of many volumes (Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience-Wiley, Journal of Computational Science-Elsevier). He was chair of the technical committee "Communication Software" of the IEEE Communication Society 2017-2019. He is involved in several European projects on Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C2A, SCOOP, InterCor, C-Roads, Indid).
